In 2020 ASI released their impressions study that showed in 2019 Tee shirts were the #2 most popular promotional product and that 63% of consumers keep a promotional tee shirt for an average of 14 months.  58% of respondents keep the Tee from 1-4 years.  Tee shirts also have one of the broadest appeals for consumers because they can be easily be geared for a target market to range from Toddlers to Silver Surfers.

Tee shirts are affordable to give as a promo.  Let’s compare it to everybody’s favorite go to social media platform, Facebook. In a recent article by Hootsuite they revealed that the average Cost-Per-Click (CPC) for an view on Facebook is $0.27 each.

In a Survey done by the PPAI (Promotional Product Association International) showed that 58% of respondents keep a promotional product anywhere from 1 year to more than four years.  So even if the recipient uses the item only once per week, that is a minimum of 52 impressions made over the course of a year with the possibility of more than 208 during its lifetime.  The cost per impression could be as low as $0.035 each.

The survey also revealed that 76% of people were better able to recall the advertiser in a print or online ad if they had received a promotional product in the previous 12 months.
